Telephone Call Accounting Software and PABX Interface

Ankertek Call Manager is a flexible telephone call accounting system that can be configured to operate in several different ways. It can serve as:

  • a general-purpose phone-call recording and reporting system
  • a stand-alone phone billing system for hotels and motels
  • a PABX interface to third party property management systems

A connection from your PABX to a Windows based PC is all you need to provide details of incoming and/or outgoing calls and Call Manager does the rest.

General-purpose call accounting and reporting

The general-purpose call accounting configuration of Call Manager is suitable for mini call centres or professional and general office situations. It provides both summary and detail reports of telephone usage, including:

  • cost of outgoing calls
  • minimum, maximum, total and average duration for all calls
  • minimum, maximum, total and average ring time for incoming calls (if supported by the PABX)
  • calls can be selected and sorted according to date, extension, exchange line, account code and type of call (local, national, international, mobile etc)

Hotel phone billing

The hotel phone billing configuration of Call Manager is ideal for small to medium size hotels and motels to attribute phone call charges to the appropriate guests. It can also be used very effectively in larger properties that do not require a comprehensive property management system.

  • optional entry of guest name, phone number and car registration details
  • flexible markup formula, including optional charging for "free" calls
  • prints guest invoices listing call details and charges
  • reports of basic guest history and past phone calls
  • handles extension barring when supported by the PABX

Property management PABX interface

As a PABX interface, Call Manager is suitable for importing phone call data into compatible property management systems (PMS) or front office systems. This configuration also includes reports similar to those of the general-purpose system.
